ODE is a great place to learn English and meet people from different backgrounds. In my class, I have friends from different countries, each with their own story. I don’t just learn English; I learn about different cultures by listening to my friends. I always feel welcomed by the teachers and staff in ODE. I think ODE is a positive environment to study and spend the time.

ODE has helped me tremendously to regain my trust, encouraged me to study and know that I can succeed… I am loved by the very enthusiastic manner and excellent methodology of the teachers. Every day they inject us with joy and good spirits and that helps us to be motivated.

ODE is wonderful. Going to your school is like literally walking through an open door. You come in and find kindness and warmth. You can get support that goes far beyond the language. Although the language is of course very important. Your way of teaching is inspiring! ODE also opens doors. Doors to other internationals, to the community in Ithaca, to jobs and so on. Not to forget the people that work in the school! Just getting to know you is worth coming to ODE!

In the home of ODE, I want to thank each teacher. They not only helped me improve my English, but also guided me in understanding diverse aspects of social life. In their classrooms, I felt their passion for education and dedication, teaching me how to be a teacher after graduation.
